Flags of Asian Countries With Their Meanings

Afghanistan
The flag has 3-colored stripes: black, red and green. Black depicts the nation as troubled in the history; red for blood of soldiers; green for hope.
Bangladesh
The flag consists of a red disc on top of a green field — symbolizes the rising sun, and the blood of the martyrs.
China
The red-colored flag has a large five-pointed star that symbolizes the Communist party, encircled by small four-pointed stars, denoting the social classes.
The flag has 3-band colors: saffron, white and green (with Ashoka Chakra, a 24-spoke wheel - the wheel of time). Saffron depicts courage; white for peace; green for land growth.
India
The bicolor flag has two-equal-band colors on it: red and white. The red represents blood; white the human spirit.

A white equilateral triangle in the center-right corner represents liberty, equality and fraternity; blue for justice; red for patriotism.

The flag has two equal horizontal sections: red and white. Red represents brotherhood, white for purity; crescent moon for a young nation and stars for the five ideals.
Turkey
Usually called 'al bayrak', the red-colored flag (with a crescent moon and a five-pointed star), represents the blood of soldiers who lost their lives.

Vietnam
Yemen has the simplest tricolor flag. Black stands for dark days; white represents a bright future; red the blood of millions who struggled for the independence.
